Identity Theft Insurance
Restoring one's name and good credit is a time-consuming and expensive process. In response, AOL is offering Identity Theft Insurance, financial relief up to $10,000, without deductibles, for identity restoration costs, legal defense expenses and lost wages.*
Identity Restoration Costs
Identity theft victims incur a variety of fees when trying to restore their identities. This insurance reimburses victims for re-filing loans, grants or other credit applications that were rejected as a result of their stolen identity event. In addition, victims are reimbursed for notarizing affidavits, long distance phone calls, tolls and postage costs related to the event. Within six months of his/her identity being stolen, a victim may also order up to six credit reports in order to verify that the identity has been restored.
PC Damage Insurance
As a High-Speed Essentials or Dial-Up Advantage user, you also receive PC Damage insurance.* We have partnered with a member company of Chartis, one of the world's leading insurance companies, to offer you this valuable policy. If your PC hardware is ever physically damaged, you can receive up to $1,000 in repair or replacement costs under this coverage -- with no deductible.
PC Physical Damage Restoration Costs
PC users may incur a variety of fees when trying to repair to their PC after physical damage has occurred. This insurance reimburses victims for the actual cash value, up to $1,000, for the computer hardware or any damaged component of the computer hardware that suffered direct physical damage or the amount required to repair the computer hardware or the damaged computer component back to its value before it suffered direct physical damage.
