This free application allows users to send and receive (free) messages to any SMS-capable phone. You can even send instant messages to anyone on the AIM® Network. The magic of touchTXT is based on AOL's AIM-to-SMS gateways, available to most mobile phone subscribers in North America.

ICQ® for iPhone lets you stay in touch with all of your Buddies on both the ICQ and AIM® networks, supporting ICQ sounds and emoticons while allowing you to communicate with friends on mobile phones via SMS (not available in all countries).
